Description
Black organza overlay skirt designed to layer over the Cuirass Skirt for a fuller volcanic silhouette. The translucency of the organza shifts the structure of the Cuirass Skirt beneath, layered shadow over structured black. Hook and eye can reveal ruffled slit or let down for more coverage as well as train in back. Obsidian belongs to the armor vocabulary, the dramatic expansion of the Cuirass Skirt and a piece that exists only in conversation with what it layers over. Wears with the Cuirass and the Cuirass Skirt as the Obsidian Gown, with the addition of the Obsidian Sleeves included upon request for the full dramatic register. Made to order. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for construction.
Care
Each piece is hand-constructed and intended to be kept. Treat it accordingly. Spot clean when possible. Dry clean for full cleaning, with attention to construction details, boning, and embellishment. Store on a padded hanger or laid flat between wears. Specific care notes for your piece are included with delivery.
