Chasuble
Description
Long fitted floral outerwear in gilded brocade with black velvet trim, coral shimmer satin lining, and high hip slits for movement. The gold lives in the brocade itself, woven into the fabric rather than applied to the construction. Chasuble belongs to the sacred outerwear family alongside the Mantle and Vestment, the most versatile gilded layer in the capsule and the bridge between the Gilt Bolero and the full ceremonial cape. Layers over Cuirass and Pyre Trouser for the gilded armor look with full coverage, or over Umbra for the gilded layer over the shadow base. Made to order. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for construction.
Care
Each piece is hand-constructed and intended to be kept. Treat it accordingly. Spot clean when possible. Dry clean for full cleaning, with attention to construction details, boning, and embellishment. Store on a padded hanger or laid flat between wears. Specific care notes for your piece are included with delivery.
Design
Every Haus Ophira piece is designed and constructed by hand in the atelier. Made to your measurements, finished with intention, and built to outlast a season. Each piece carries the mark of the hand that made it.
