Description
Sheer black drawstring trouser, transformable between wide-leg and gathered through two drawstrings, one at the waist and one at the ankle. A separate velvet tie can be added at the ankle to draw the leg into a ruffled cuff. The modularity principle expressed through closure rather than layering, one garment with multiple silhouettes. Compline Trouser belongs to the interior vocabulary and completes the Liturgical Hours arc with the Compline Bandeau. Wears with Cuirass and Scapular for the armor meets night register, or with the Compline Bandeau as the full sheer set. Made to order. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for construction.
Care
Each piece is hand-constructed and intended to be kept. Treat it accordingly. Spot clean when possible. Dry clean for full cleaning, with attention to construction details, boning, and embellishment. Store on a padded hanger or laid flat between wears. Specific care notes for your piece are included with delivery.
